For the last couple of years, I have been doing podcast interviews with former CPGers who are running their own businesses. Recently, one of my subscribers half-jokingly told me "Don't forget to interview yourself!".
His comment made me realize that I never slowed down to process my own experience, do a retrospective analysis and summarize my learnings for the last 6+ years, as I transitioned from a corporate marketing job to running a tech startup.
I got a chance to do so recently when I was approached by Together In Digital to speak at their upcoming SheRocks event next month. I gladly agreed and am now putting together:
- Lessons I learned in my journey
- Things I wish I knew before I quit the CPG world, and
- Why I feel enterprise software industry needs more non-technical founders like you and I.
